The effects of environment on gas removal

Recent paper by Rodriguez et al. who studied the impact of environment on the disc satellites in a Local Group type halo. They follow in details the evolution of the star formation activity, ram pressure and tidal torques along the orbits. Most of the studied satellites are not quenched at the first pericenter, however there is a diversity of evolutions. The fraction of removed gas is found to be produced by a combination of ram pressure, tidal torques and SN feedback. This is also the first paper of the CIELO collaboration!
